So I am driving home from the appointment yesterday when I come to a stop when around the bend I see flashing police lights.

I sat there a second wondering what was going on... when it suddenly dawned on me that some horses have somehow gotten loose and decided to go for a stroll down the road and the police car was escorting them and driving backwards.

Bonnaroo the Path to Hell

I live down the road from the Bonnaroo festival. I know what hell awaits my drive home when this hits.

Just row after row of teenagers and hippies clogging up 24 Eastbound. Endless soap signs plastered on the car saying things like "Bonnaroo or Bust" or "Honk if you love weed". (Ok that last one is funny, especially when it is written on the windows of a Lexus LX).

I will spend about 2-3 hours to get to an exit that normally takes me 30 minutes to get to. The entire time I will be wishing for a Godzilla monster style attack on the festival.

As much as I like The White Stripes and The Police... I will be staying home.

Before visiting North America, the White Stripes will play six shows in Europe in June and also drop by the Bonnaroo festival in Manchester, Tennessee.
