Regarding Cancelled Shows... From This Point On

The main character flaw I have is that I need to know what is going on. If I do not get this information I shake like I am some kind of addict

When I code, I want to know exactly what it is I am doing on each line of code. When it is TV, I have to know the storyline to the end... this does not need to be immediate, but over the course of the show I need resolution.

The canceling of Jericho and previously it was Firefly and a few other shows here and there, I think I am going to not watch ANY new TV. Instead I will wait until it completes a season and goes to DVD and at that point I will pick it up on NetFlix.

they cancelled jericho?

As I just stated in my LJ, I amvery saddened to hear of this news, especially with the way the season, now series, ended. It would help if TV show would stop doing cliffhanger endings, in case of emergency so to speak. The only shows I watched on DVD only were Buffy and Angel, and their endings were not always a big cliffhanger. Joss knew that the show could go at any moment, just look at Angel Season 5. Regardless, tv execs are no longer giving tv a chance, they just want fresh faces in every season and if it isn't an instant hit, then to hell with them all!

They cancelled it because it couldn't compete with American Idol. What can. American Idol sucks but teeny boppers watch it. You might as well cancel a show because it didn't do well against the superbowl.

Maybe Sci Fi will pick it up.
