Let's Talk Drugs
I have never done drugs, I may be getting old and I may be fat now... but in
highschool I had a metal band and I was vain. As I was lead singer I did not
want to do anything that could potentially screw with my voice and so I
stayed away from the cancer sticks, pot and hell anything else that might
have messed with my voice including alcohol.
Saying this... I have no problem with people smoking marijuana. I mainly say
this because of the sheer number of friends and my family whom have smoked
it or currently do smoke it. I have seen how they act and there was never
any impairment that put themselves or someone else at risk.
Now, also saying this, some of those same people I have seen drunk and they
are heavily impaired, so I have a frame of reference.
I am not going to turn this into a pro or anti drug debate, however I will
tell you that our police force's militaristic attitude to marijuana is
obscene and I will tell you why.
My sister has two children, a job and a very nice house. She has a boyfriend
who lives with her and my own mother lives with her. They fight daily to
handle their lives and make it day by day.
My sister's boyfriend was pulled over for some kind of traffic violations
and due to past traffic offenses his car was searched and a small amount of
marijuana found. The cop then proceeds to go through his wallet, finds a
picture of my sister and her two kids and then proceeds to call the
department of human services on my sister. Whom I would like to point out is
no where near or around her boyfriend... neither are her kids. So DHS calls
my sister yesterday afternoon and tells her to expect a visit from them
today.
Now how incredibly messed up is that?
Guilt by Association...
Sounds like a witch hunt to me.

Witch hunt?
Try FRAUD, HARASSMENT, PROFILING, FALSE ASSUMPTIONS, and just plain rediculous.
HE got caught. -They have NO GOOD escuse to start harassing everyone he comes into contact with.
If it makes these LOSERS happy to come check (simpler to just do a dope test) then f*** 'em. -Just get it over with. I'm sure they'll QUICKLY discover they've made a mistake by even CONSIDERING you all as his associates.
I've seen, and heard of many, many fatalities associated with alcohol, but never weed related, and there's many WORSE things that people could be involved in.
Prosecuting for weed is just another state-created method of legally robbing people.
The MFR's in this world, I swear...
-Sorry to hear this D.
